Middle-class women who book SEX holidays

The term once described sleazy trips to the back streets of Bangkok, but now sex trips are being rebranded as posh breaks for “sophisticated professionals” to indulge their fantasies.
Couples and singles are flooding into hotels, which promise swinging parties, erotic floor shows and bedrooms with mirrored ceilings.
Plush places in Jamaica, Mexico and Lanzarote are openly marketing themselves as adult-only resorts, where anything under the sun goes — even romps on loungers by the pool in full view of other guests.
And a growing number of women are unapologetically visiting these locations for sex.
Divorcee Joanne Jones, 42, from Falmouth in Cornwall, is hoping to go to one of the resorts in the Caribbean or Mexico this summer.
Joanne, who is currently single and has two children, says: “I’m quite happy to say that I go on holiday looking for sex.
“I enjoy kinky sex with strangers, and holidays are the perfect place to find a new partner and do something you’d never do at home.
“The sun is shining, you have a fabulous time, and you can leave all your inhibitions at home.”

Joanne, who runs a company selling discount laptop computers, has holidayed in adults-only resorts in Greece and Cyprus.
And she relishes the opportunity to lose her inhibitions.
She said: “I love the fact that no one knows who you are.
‘I work hard all year – why shouldn’t I treat myself?’
“I work hard all year, ten- to 15 -hour days, and this is my way of letting my hair down.
“My favourites are Cypriot guys, because they go with anyone and are not afraid to experiment.
“I want sex with no strings attached, and I always practice safe sex with condoms so I am not worried about my sexual health.
“I’m a businesswoman, I make my own money — and why shouldn’t I treat myself?”
Joanne reveals that it doesn’t take long to find an obliging partner.
“I pick up men in bars at the hotels. They are there looking for sex too, and if you are on a nudist beach you know what to expect.
“All I have to do is stand there, and I get approached. It usually only takes about half an hour for a guy to come over.
“In my most recent encounter, I met a guy called Michael, a Cypriot.
“We got chatting, had a meal, and the next thing I knew he was whisking me out of the hotel for a weekend at his house in Limassol.
“That’s the thing about sex holidays — you never know what is going to happen next. The sex was amazing — we were at it all weekend. He knew why I was there and there was no pretending.
“I don’t want to be in a relationship, and if you go abroad looking for sex, there are no ties.
“At the end of the weekend, he dropped me back at my hotel and we said goodbye without any regrets.”
Mary Richardson*, 44, from Chester, is another sex trip regular — despite being married.

The lingerie business boss said: “I first went three years ago with a girlfriend for a giggle. We went to a hotel in Cancun in Mexico.
“My husband knew we were going on holiday, but had no idea what type of hotel it was.
“He thought we were just going to sunbathe and drink rose by the pool. I’m no prude but I was really shocked by how far people were willing to go — but by the third day I was joining in.
“I am much more sexually adventurous than my husband, and our sex life is pretty dull.
“I ventured into the ‘au naturel’ area — the nude swimming pool — and after a few drinks I took everything off.
“I was approached by a couple around my own age, and then we retired to their bedroom and really got swinging.
“The sex was amazing. After that I started to be much more open in front of other people too, and walk around in just a thong. I had at least six pretty explicit encounters with women and men — and it was so exciting. I loved it so much I went back last year and I’m planning another trip.
“It’s like one long sex-filled party. Most of the people there were either Brits or Americans, with some Germans too.”

Neil Henderson runs Dare2Travel, the UK’s market leader in adult-only sex holidays.
He reveals that most of his bookings are made by COUPLES.
He said: “We organise holidays to the Hedonism resorts in Jamaica, and the Desire ones in Mexico.
“Most of our clients are couples, and often they are swingers.
“Just this week I had a call from a man booking a holiday for himself and two girls — he was obviously out to have fun. These holidays have been selling like hot cakes for eight or nine years and I have noticed a definite increase.
“People want to have a sexy time on holiday and expand their horizons. Most of the hotels offer a calendar of events, with sex shows and audience participation.
“If you go to one of these resorts, you need to know what to expect.
“January tends to be swinging time then, in the summer, you get more singles holidaying there.
“The resorts are four or five-star, and offer amazing surroundings and great food — you don’t have to participate in the sexy fun and frolics if you don’t want to.”
Most of Neil’s clients are in their 30s or 40s — and some are even booking in for a sex trip on their honeymoon.
He said: “You’d be amazed how many people go to sex resorts for their honeymoon or anniversaries. We even cater for naked weddings — couples go with their guests.
“The hotels will run theme nights such as ‘sexy pirates’ or fetish wear, and things can then get pretty steamy in the big Jacuzzi.”
Prices for a week’s holiday range from around £1,300 up to £2,000, with five-star facilities.
‘100 naked bodies party in Jacuzzi’ In 2010, the holiday group Spice opened up a sex destination in Lanzarote.
Their trips have proved so popular, that they are already booked up for most of NEXT year, according to the firm’s Tracy Istid.

She said: “Since opening Spice Lanzarote we have seen a massive rise in our bookings and enquiries year-on-year to the point where all our events get fully booked and already we are near capacity for much of 2014.
“People are looking for a more sophisticated sense of debauchery, and we get a broad spectrum of couples.
“Most are high achievers from the private and public sector, and they’re looking for an alternative fantasy.
“Many have reached a point in their relationship when they want to experiment sexually.
“All our staff go beyond the realms of normal hospitality, providing a platform where you are free to indulge your fantasies.
“It’s a very private and safe place, where we might have 100 naked bodies partying in the giant Jacuzzi together.
“It’s a long way from a seedy lock-up in a car park in Basildon!”
But not everyone is keen to join in the action on sex holidays. Rochelle Peachey and husband Phil, both 48, were shocked by their visit to the Hedonism resort in Jamaica.
Rochelle, who runs dating agency iloveyouraccent.com, said: “Phil and I went for a laugh, because the things you see are absolutely mind-blowing. You wouldn’t believe what goes on.
“I saw women performing oral sex on men, couples openly having sex and swinging sessions. No one is embarrassed — that’s what you are there for, and anything goes.
“You can get a night pass to the hotel from other ‘normal’ hotels in the area, and the evening entertainment is raunchy to say the least.
“On the stage, for example, there’ll be a pole-dancing act, and then they invite other people up to take part.
“It was titillating but there was no way we’d join in the group sex.”
