Tweeting Bra:A bra that sends tweets every time it is unclasped

Just when you thought you have seen everything, here comes the 'Tweeting Bra'. That's right! The bra actually tweets every time it is unclasped.

Before you question the need for such a thing, know that it's not for sale and neither is it a publicity gimmick (at least we hope).

Brainchild of Greek marketing group OgilvyOne Athens, the 'Tweeting Bra' is part of a campaign from Nestle Fitness for October's Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Maria Bacodimou, a popular Greek TV presenter, will wear it for 2 weeks. Every time she unhooks it, the bra will automatically tweet to her followers, reminding them to perform breast self-exams.

How does this work? A special mechanism is hidden under the hook of the bra. Every time it is unhooked, it sends a signal to a cell phone. Then the cell phone notifies a server, and the server generates the tweet.

And the Tweeting Bra, naturally, has its own Twitter account too.

However, there's a catch. The bra only tweets in Greek as the campaign has only been launched in Greece as of now.

Here's a video about how the tweeting bra works

Crazy Fish attack in River

Asian Silver Carp (also called "flying carp" for obvious reasons) make fishing easy in an Illinois river...

The Silver Carp is an invasive species in North America. They tend to jump right out of the water when startled, giving them the nickname "flying carp". Due to the extremely narrow river the engine noise traveled in front of the boat as well as behind, startling all the fish in the canal and forcing the boaters to "run the gauntlet!"

MIAMI POLICE OFFICERS CAUGHT ON CAMERA ALLEGEDLY IGNORING 911 CALLS

An entire Miami-Dade Police squad in Kendall has been disciplined -- several of the officers, fired -- after what CBS Miami reports is one of the worst dereliction of duty cases in the department's history.

One officer, Dario Socarras, was filmed drinking coffee for nine minutes while allegedly ignoring emergency dispatch orders on a call for an unconscious 5-month-old baby, Local10 reports.

His supervisor, Sgt. Jennifer Gonzalez, was sitting at the cafe with Socarras -- and was also recorded shopping while on duty at stores like Target and Lowes, brushing off work to rendezvous with her boyfriend, and visiting her parents in Cutler Ridge when she should have been on the job, according to CBS.

Socarras was also filmed twice kissing and spending time with a girlfriend in the parking lot of the Dadeland mall, allegedly while ignoring calls for armed robbery and burglary -- forcing officers from other units to respond from greater distances.

The squad was surveilled by Internal Affairs investigators, who used video cameras and GPS vehicle trackers to document what members were doing while they should have been responding to calls.

"We're talking about falsification of records, we're talking about stealing time that doesn't belong to you, because they are supposed to be available for service or duty and they're not,” said former Miami Police Chief Ken Harms.

Altogether, five officers and Sgt. Gonzalez were allegedly caught ignoring dispatch calls, according to media reports. NBC6 confirms Socarras, Gonzalez, and Officer Jose Huerta have been fired, according to MDPD internal affairs documents, and others have been disciplined.

Monster truck runs over people at air show

A monster truck that drove off course and into an audience at a show in Mexico yesterday has killed 13 and injured more than 70.

The incident happened at the 'Extreme Aeroshow' in Chihuahua, Mexico yesterday.

The monster truck was leaping over a pile of cars when the driver seemed to lose control of vehicle and it drove straight into the audience attempting to flee.

Witnesses say they saw the truck driver lose control of the vehicle after hitting his head on the inside of the truck.

'The driver hit his head and his helmet flew off,' recalled spectator Daniel Dominguez, 18.

Dominguez's 11-year-old sister was taken into surgery for injuries to her legs, and his mother was also treated for minor contusions.

41-year-old Jesus Manuel Ibarra was hurt in his arm and hip.

'I fell over, and when I turned around I saw the tire very close. It hit me and threw me to the other side,' he said.
Authorities are also investigating whether a mechanical error might have occurred, causing the gas pedal to remain engaged.

Six people were killed at the scene of the truck show Saturday, and another three people died receiving medical attention. Later, four more bodies were found under the monster truck's wheels.

Marco Quezada, the mayor of Chihuahua, initially said 47 were injured but that number has grow to 70.

The monster truck driver survived the incident and has been arrested.

After the accident, the air show was cancelled. It was the second day of the three-day show.
