The images document the death of Fabrizio Veronese, 53 years of Rovigo, and Guglielmo Bellan, 56 years of Loreo: the two workers died Feb. 22 while they were carrying out maintenance work on the bottom of a closed Lepri Valle, in Comacchio (Ferrara). After the collapse of a bulkhead the two were swept away by a wave four meters high, their bodies were only found after several hours in a tunnel fifty feet deep.
