PREGNANT Duchess of Cambridge enjoying hot spicy Indian meals

Kate has developed a craving for Indian food which has been said to trigger labour.
The meals are made for Kate - who is due on July 15 - at a shop in her family’s village in Berkshire.
It comes as new research by JustEat revealed that 39 per cent of couples have tried a curry to speed up the birth of their child.

Shop owner Chan Shingadia, who runs the Berkshire convenience store with wife Hash, said: “My wife was cooking. Kate said it smelled lovely.”
Mrs Shingadia added: “She said she had a craving so I made her a big batch to take away with rice and flatbreads.”

The study of expectant couples’ eating habits also highlighted that in more than half (58 per cent) of cases it was during a first pregnancy that couples turned to spicy curry.
The dish most hotly-tipped by pregnant Brits was a vindaloo, which came above madras, jalfrezi and masala curries in the poll.
